About Jeremy
Jeremy Chatelain, founder of Lumen Electric, began his electrical training with the IBEW in 2013, gaining hands-on experience in industrial settings. He later transitioned to residential and commercial electrical work in Whatcom County, where he developed a passion for helping homeowners and businesses with their electrical needs. He holds 01 Commercial and Administrative Licenses, ensuring expertise in a wide range of electrical projects.
Originally from Connell, WA, Jeremy now lives in Ferndale with his wife, Kristin, and their three kids. When he’s not on the job, he enjoys camping, hiking, working on yard projects, shooting hoops, and spending time in the mountains.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Jeremy and Lumen Electric on several occasions. The house we purchased in March of 2024 has required some work to make it our home. The electrical modifications and additions have all been done by Jeremy. We are impressed with Jeremy’s knowledge, skill, and the quality of his work.
